Crepe Paper Flowers for Bonbonerie boxes

Recently I recieved an Etsy convo for some Crepe paper flowers in baby pink and with black center . And this is to be shipped to Australia. In my Etsy store even though I had mentioned that I ship only in US, Reiannan contacted me saying that she liked the crepe paper peonies that I have listed in my Etsy store and that if I could make something similar but smaller so she can attach them to the bonbonerie boxes.. She sent a pic of the wedding cake which had  babypink flowers with black centers and she wanted the crepe paper flowers to match the cake flowers. I love making flowers and so couldn’t say no  and made a sample  flower.. So then she placed the order for 115 flowers..Some pics of the flowers are here.. And hopefully she will send the pics of these flowers on the Bonbonerie boxes …

Jan 10- I received a convo from Reiannan as soon as she got the parcel. She wrote”I received my amazing parcel today, many many thanks for all your help. They are just stunning, made to perfection. Great seller. look forward to future business. ”

Thanks Reiannan for the order and Hope you have a Great event!!

Christmas Gifts for my son’s Pre school Teachers

My son started his preschool this October and he loves the school  and his teachers..The teachers there do a wonderful job taking care of these 3 and 4 yr olds.. So I thought of making some small arrangements for his teachers to give as Christmas gifts..Here are the pics of some clay flower arrangements.

Merry Christmas !!!!

Why not celebrate Christmas with a homemade Plum cake from the best Plum cake Recipe that I have come across.http://deepann.wordpress.com/2006/03/30/rich-fruit-plum-cake/. I have made this quite a few times now and it has never let me down.  You must be wondering whether  I have stopped crafting and started  cooking blog… No. the Picture of the Plum cake that I made still has a handcrafted clay Hibiscus .. Though the clay Hibiscus is not edible ,still makes a great cake topper. .. May be make a clay Poinsettia next time..

Merry Christmas !!!!!

Roses for a Winter wedding

Leslie came to me via Etsy and wanted Paper flower Bouquets for her wedding..It was in June that she contacted me and  was planning for a Winter wedding. Leslie wansn’t sure whether to go for an all white coffee filter roses or white with blue edges..  I asked her to get a sample of each  so that not only she can decide the color but also how many roses she would like in her bouquet.. She was happy with the samples and decided on coffee filter roses all painted white.. Leslie wanted 6 Roses for her Bridal Bouquet and 3 roses each for her 3 Bridesmaids Bouquet, 3 corsages and some Boutonnieres and also a Toss Bouquet with medium sized roses..Leslie was so prompt with the Payment .. She is such a sweet person to work with.. Some pics of the wedding order…

I shipped the Roses in the first  week of Nov and these were her exact words once she recieved them.”I just got my flowers and the are GORGEOUS!!  I cannot wait to hear people’s reaction, they are to die for!!”

Leslie again contacted me in Dec after her wedding and it was sooo kind of her to let me know how her guests thought about her Bouquet. She wrote “I just want to tell you that all of my guests were stunned and amazed by the flowers that you created! I will pass along some pictures once I get them but I wanted to thank you again and let  you know that I have gotten so many fabulous remarks about them!! No one can believe that they are made from coffee filters! You do such an amazing job and I will be passing your information on to people!! I know that I will be using your services again!”

Thanks Leslie for trusting me with your wedding flowers.. And waiting for the wedding pics..
